On October, 13th NPO Saturn hosted a working meeting of the representatives of Sukhoi, SCAC and PowerJet with the participation of Igor Ozar, head of Sukhoi Design and Development Bureau, Vladimir Prisyazhnyuk, SCAC President and Jacques Desclaux, PowerJet President and CEO with the top-management of NPO Saturn.
The key subject of the meeting was the discussion of the items relevant to fulfilling the SaM146 delivery schedule in 2011. The parties reviewed the possibility of increasing the number of engines to be delivered in 2011 to meet the Sukhoi Superjet 100 customer delivery program.
During the working meeting the plans for 2012 were discussed as well as working assumptions of SCAC on selling its planes and the possibility of producing more engines to secure certification tests of the Sukhoi Superjet 100LR extended-range aircraft.
