Final fifth batch of D-30KP-2 engines produced by NPO Saturn is delivered to the Chinese customer

On March, 23rd the fifth batch of D-30KP-2 engines manufactured by NPO Saturn was delivered to the Chinese customer.
It is the final batch consisting of 11 engines under the delivery contract between FSUC Rosoboronexport and the People’s Republic of China entered into force in April 2009 for delivery of 55 engines in the period until 2012.
Delivery of the final batch of D-30KP-2 engines is slanted for the end of March this year.
 The contract also stipulates technical support by the original equipment manufacturer during the warranty period.
 The previous four batches of D-30KP-2 engines were delivered to the customer by the Russian party in November 2009, March, May and October 2010 respectively.
  In the course of the commissioning campaign the members of the Chinese delegation accompanied by a representative of the Embassy of the PRC in Moscow Chzhen Kay expressed their satisfaction with early and quality execution of the contractual obligations by NPO Saturn.
