The Agreement was co-signed by Ilya Fedorov, NPO Saturn chief executive officer and Ruslan Zvyagintsev, president of NPO Stankostroenie.

The following activities are stipulated by this Agreement:
• engineering of technical solutions with a follow-on implementation at NPO Saturn and other Russian companies;

To ensure a holistic approach to re-equipping the NPO Saturn production faculties, the NPO Saturn tooling-production subsidiaries SatIZ and NIR will act as partners in the realization of this joint engineering process.

The production and financial potential of our companies have brought us to establishing a long-term, mutually profitable collaboration focused on the joint engineering efforts to satisfy the aircraft engine component production market, - emphasized NPO Saturn CEO Ilya Fedorov. – We have to come up with a common strategy of the Russian machine building development in the future with regard to its application in the engine-building business. In particular, we will be setting burning issues to the machine-building folks, which they would have to transform into the modern equipment solutions meeting all the aviation industry requirements”.

The intercompany agreement has a provision for setting up an NPO Saturn-based test center where the equipment produced by NPO Stankostroenie would be tested.
A permanent working group will be established to facilitate the most efficient implementation of tasks in various directions of the joint activity.
