Following the results of the first semester of 2013 NPO Saturn has earned a sales profit in the amount of 0.6 billion rubles vs. 0.8 rubles of losses in the previous year.
According to Alexey Sobolev, NPO Saturn deputy CEO – chief financial officer, “what we see is a result of well thought-out work aimed at expanding the portfolio of orders, developing our product line and creating new production capacity.
Improved performance has allowed us to continually increase the employees’ wages. For instance, over 6 months of 2013 the average monthly salary has reached 29 thousand rubles having demonstrated a 15% increase compared to the last year’s level.
The investments made in the 1st semester of 2013 equaled 1.5 billion rubles which by 53% exceeds the figure demonstrated in the same period of last year.
The established order portfolio allows to predict a further significant increase in the volumes of production and sales both in 2013 and in 2014-2015”.
