NPO Saturn (9th in the rating) was distinguished for the “prospective military aviation”. In the opinion of Fast Company, the T-50 fifth generation fighter powered by the Saturn engines can stand competition against the newest military aircraft of the western countries.
Yandex, Kasperky Laboratory and a linguistic software producer ABBYY were at the top of the best innovators list.
Among other companies of the ten are Rosnano, Rosatom corporation, chip manufacturer M2M Telematics, diode manufacturer Optogan, smart-card manufacturer Mikron and an oil company Lukoil.
NPO Saturn CEO, chairman of the Yaroslavl branch of the Machine builders union of Russia Ilya Fedorov expressed his sincere satisfaction with the recognition of Saturn’s innovative accomplishments as a representative of Russian aviation industry, next to such technologically advanced Russian companies.
